The Rossignol XIUM skating Premium S2 model is a World Cup racing ski for competitive athletes. This model convinces with a continuous carbon layer and with competition-proven edge technologies.

The result is an ultra-lightweight and well-balanced ski. In fact, it is a ski that offers maximum power transfer, outstanding glide, and fluid acceleration.

The Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium S2 IFPThe dynamic Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium S2 IFP is a speedy racehorse that wants to be skated on fast.

The Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium S2 has a stiff camber that ensures strength when accelerating. It targets cross-country ski racers who want to experience an excellent gliding experience with a high-performance racing ski.

The 3-edge energy sensor technology and fixed sidecut provides better powerful energy transfer. This increases the acceleration much faster.

The Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium S2 IFP is equipped with IFP binding plate. It is only compatible with the Turnamic bindings from Rossignol or Fischer. However this shouldn't be an obstacle for you, because the Turnamic binding has proved very successful.

The ski box consists of a Nomex core, which is a honeycomb-type filler. Its strength lies in combination with a fiberglass shell and the use of full-length ABS sidewalls. Thus it makes it possible to lighten the overall-weight of the ski.

The Active Cap offers a balance of torsional rigidity and comfortable flex from tip to tail for stability in all conditions. This improves mobility, saves energy and reduces the swing weight.

I have used Rossignol racing skis for both classic and skate skiing for years. So, when testing X-IUM Skating Premium S2, I wasn't surprised by its smoothness.

If you’re a cross-country skier with good technique, then look no further than at the Rossignol X-IUM skating S2 ski.  I'm sure that you would have made the right choice.

On the other hand, if you're technically isn't yet where you want to be, than a Salomon or Atomic skate race ski could be a better alternative for you.
